I am Jana Zajdenova

My path has always been guided by curiosity. As a young marketing student, I sought real-life applications to complement theory, leading me to explore diverse fields and roles. I organised non-profit events for over 200 participants with the AIESEC Youth Leadership Organisation, worked on automation processes alongside colleagues from across Europe at Siemens AG, and gained first-hand experience of customer research as a hostess.

One central lesson I learned is this: first give people good food, then talk to them.

On a more serious note, I learned that good, practical solutions don't happen without closely listening to the needs of those who will benefit from them.

Over time, I discovered how much I enjoy visual storytelling, taking ideas and shaping them into engaging, useful and aesthetically pleasing experiences. This passion led me to pursue a career in communication design.

After completing my Bachelor's degree and further certification in UI design, I worked as a communication designer for the German team at Gaia-X, a forward-thinking European digitalisation project. I developed visuals independently, ranging from infographics and factsheets to presentations, social media campaigns, and print materials.

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Design Management at the Ecosign Academy in Cologne, working on solo and team projects that combine management, design thinking and sustainable solutions.
